Comedian John Bishop has launched this year's Royal British Legion Poppy People campaign, urging the British public to volunteer their spare time to raise as much money as possible for the ex-service community and their families.

Bishop said 'Having family in the Forces, I know the sacrifices that are made on our behalf and, by volunteering for the Legion to help the charity raise vital funds, you'll be giving something back to service personnel, past and present, and their families'.
